Organic Fair Trade Cane Sugar
General Description
PRANA’s organic, fair-trade cane sugar is a fine sugar that has a brownish colour to it. This sugar has not been refined.
Origin
PRANA’s sugar cane comes from farmer cooperatives in Paraguay and Costa Rica.
Nutritional benefits
This unrefined cane sugar is fully equipped with molasses and it is a direct result of pressing the cane and the evaporation of its water. It contains many minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, iron and many vitamins (B1, B2, B5 and E) It contains from 1500 to 2800 mg of minerals per 100g which is quite impressive when you consider you only get 30 to 50mg in white sugar!
Usage
This sugar is meant as a replacement for your regular white sugar.
