Organic Raw European Almonds

General Description

Low-fat nut of choice, almonds have been part of our diet for several centuries. Still to this day, almonds are the most eaten nut worldwide. Excellent source of monounsaturated fatty acids, fiber and protein, almonds are an excellent hunger quencher. More iron and 4.5 times more calcium than peanut; this classic nut is alkaline and mineralizes the body.

Our delicious raw European almonds have a light sweet almond oil taste. Since European raw almonds can sometimes be bitter, once in a while you might come across an intense flavoured almond (only 1%). High in free radical fighting antioxidants, almonds are an excellent source of protein and magnesium and helps protect the heart. Tasty and nourishing, these crunchy almonds are excellent in a homemade nut milk recipe. A new amazing flavour frontier for your taste buds!

Native to Central Asia and introduced by the Arabs during their 8th century conquest of Spain, the European almond was widely used in Europe during the Middle Ages to prepare both soups and sweet desserts.
